Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience. Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers, including cleaning, organizing, and stocking as per DSW standards.
• Complete all functions of the fulfillment process including locating items, inspecting condition, packaging, and labeling for pickup/delivery.
• Handle customer transactions accurately, operate the register, and partner with the CEL for escalated service issues.
• Participate in daily team meetings and ongoing training, support inclusivity, and be responsive to coaching and feedback.

Required Skills

• Availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Professional, friendly, and customer service focused.
• Ability to move with tempo, communicate effectively, and use technology (Register, iPhone, Calculator).
• Physical ability to stand/walk up to 100% of the time, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Experience

• No previous retail experience required.
