Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a General Equipment Cleaner to perform custodial tasks for equipment and facilities.

You will sweep, vacuum, wipe surfaces and assist with cleaning duties; participate in safety meetings and follow all safety policies. A GED or high school diploma is required; weekend/holiday work is expected; airport experience is preferred, and an Airport Security badge plus a valid driver's license are required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The General Equipment Cleaner will perform general custodial responsibilities for assigned equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Performs basic maintenance cleaning such as sweeping and cleaning.
• Performs basic cleaning of assigned equipment such as vacuuming, whipping surfaces, glass, exterior panels, stainless steel and plastic bins.
• Complete all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Participate in weekly safety/operational discussion meetings.
• Compliance with all DSUS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks and promoting a safe work environment at all times.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.
