Job summary

Broadcom in Irvine is seeking full-time DSP System Architects to design and integrate DSP/communications algorithms for robotics, UAV, and automotive applications. You will model with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink and verify through system-level simulations alongside RTL work.

The role requires deep DSP/communication theory knowledge and hands-on lab experience with ASICs, collaborating across engineering teams to deliver high-performance products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 8+ years experience
• Master's with 6+ years; PhD with 3+ years
• Expertise in Digital Communications & DSP algorithms
• Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink
• Lab testing and debugging of ASICs

Responsibilities

• Develop DSP/communications algorithm architectures for robotics, UAV, and automotive applications
• Model with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
• Run system-level simulations of physical layer transceivers and perform vector matching with RTL simulations
• Define chip requirements, verification and lab test plans
• Lab testing and debugging of ASICs
