Job summary

Legato, LLC is seeking a DSP Software Engineer in Hanover, MD to design, develop, and optimize software and DSP algorithms for high-throughput signal processing. The role emphasizes C++, Linux, and Python within cross-disciplinary teams.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement (up to 2 days telework), requires TS/SCI w/ Polygraph security clearance, and offers a salary range of $160,000–$250,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with emphasis on digital signal processing.
• Experience designing and implementing DSP algorithms in software.
• Experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development technologies.
• Strong understanding of signal processing concepts, including low signal-to-noise ratio and modulation.
• Ability to document and explain developed models and algorithms for other team members.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance software and DSP algorithms for signal processing.
• Develop DSP algorithms in software and integrate into existing systems.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform software integration, testing, optimization, and documentation of developed algorithms.
