Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help adults with developmental disabilities live meaningful, independent lives in Lutherville Timonium, Maryland. Pay range is $20.00-$20.50 per hour, with weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday 9 AM–9 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and assist with transfers.
• Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs.
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and personal care fostering dignity.
• Support meal preparation and healthy eating in a clean kitchen while promoting independence.
• Be patient and respectful in action and speech.
• Advocate for each person's rights and help build confidence and self-esteem.
• Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support.

Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 9 AM - 9 PM

• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
