Pay ranges from 20.29/hour without MAP Certification to 21.33/hour with MAP Certification. The position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with occasional physical tasks in a supportive residential setting.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• Active and valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass background checks is required.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs and sustain periods of sitting or standing.
• Ability to assist in a restraint if needed.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service standards of excellence with Residential managers and Direct Support Professionals.
• Advocate for individuals served and implement Individual Support Plans from assessments and goals.
• Assist participants with personal care and hygiene as needed (toileting, transfers, grooming).
• Provide light to medium maintenance/domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping, snow shoveling, grounds keeping).

Essential Job Functions:

• Works closely with Residential managers and Direct Support Professionals in delivering service standards of excellence and ensure operational compliance within assigned program in accordance with federal, state and agency regulations.
• Actively advocates for individuals served and demonstrates agency mission and values in all interpersonal and professional relations and implement Individual Support Plans for individuals based on assessments, objectives and goals.
• Assist program participants with personal care and hygiene as needed, including but not limited to: toileting, transfers, change dining, showering, dressing, and grooming
• Provide light to medium maintenance/domestic functions associated with residential programs, including, but not limited to: cleaning, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, shoveling snow, and grounds keeping duties as assigned.
