Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through daily living support, community integration, and person-centered care.

You will work Thursday–Saturday 11p-9a for 30 hours, with paid training and a sign-on bonus. The role emphasizes independence, respect, and inclusive community participation.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and related daily activities.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, banking, outings, and community activities; administer medications as trained according to plans.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and safety guidelines; ensure safety during emergencies and daily routines.
