Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to advocate for and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes independence, community involvement, and personal empowerment within a compassionate team.

Scheduled for Thursday–Saturday shifts (2p–11p, 2p–10p). Part-time position at 25 hours per week with a $17.50–$19.00 hourly wage and paid training.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living tasks.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Assist with banking, shopping, meal prep, household tasks, personal care as needed.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans and goals.
• Administer medications as required and follow MAP guidelines.
