LIFE, Inc. - New Bern is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time 3rd shift in Newport, NC. You will help clients with daily tasks to improve their quality of life and work as part of a caring team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients with dressing, bathing, toileting and other personal care activities.
• Support clients during meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist with cleaning, laundry and yard work.
• Prepare meals and provide nutritional support.
• Ensure medications are taken correctly and on schedule.
• Follow diet plans and use any required equipment.
• Keep records and follow safety and behavior plans.
• Support clients in training plans and service goals.
• Collaborate with team and share client information with supervisors.
• Drive and supervise clients in company vehicles.
• Support clients during community activities, school and day programs.

We are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join LIFE, Inc. - New Bern in Newport, NC. This is a part-time 3rd shift position paying $17.50 per hour, paid every two weeks. As a DSP, you will help and support clients with daily tasks to improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with dressing, bathing, toileting, and other personal care activities.
• Support clients during meals using family-style dining.
• Help clients with cleaning, laundry, and yard work.
• Assist clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Help clients take their prescribed medications correctly.
• Support clients in following their diet plans and using any special equipment.
• Follow behavior and safety plans, and keep accurate records.
• Help clients with training plans and service goals.
• Work as part of a team and share important client information with supervisors.
• Drive and supervise clients when using company vehicles.
• Support clients during community activities, school, and day programs.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
