Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota in Minneapolis is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Lead to support individuals with disabilities through development and monitoring of individualized plans, and to ensure accurate documentation.

You will assist with medication administration records, progress notes, safety checks, and maintain a secure environment while participating in meetings and trainings.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience and/or training of at least one year with individuals with disabilities required.
• Background Study (BGS) clearance required.
• Driver's license required.
• MVR with satisfactory driving record required.
• Ability to read, write and use computer required.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to recognize boundaries.
• Medication administration training when required (may be obtained after hire).
• First Aid training and CPR certificate may be obtained after hire.
• Mental Health Certification or related certification may be required (may be obtained after hire).
• Computer skills that support LSS technology.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the development and monitoring of individual plans and monitor client files for completeness and accuracy (medication administration records, progress notes, and reports).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by noting safety hazards and maintenance needs for the site and vehicles, and address unsafe situations.
• Maintain documentation, perform record keeping and participate in periodic meetings/trainings.
