Job summary

Towne Home Care in Middlesex, NJ is seeking qualified Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one supports in private residences and in the community, in line with each individual's ISP. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.

Applicants who can work daytime shifts are strongly preferred. Training includes DSP modules and CPR/BLS; benefits include weekly pay, direct deposit, and health coverage after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of initial required DSP training modules through the College of Direct Supports
• CPR/BLS certification
• 1 Current PPD Test (Single Step PPD) or Chest X-Ray

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and community based supports to individuals in private residences and in the community on a one-on-one basis in accordance with the ISP
• Act as a member of each individual's interdisciplinary team to assist with the ISP development
• Assist and support the individual to perform domestic and household tasks
• Assist individuals in completing personal care activities
• Assist individuals with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Complete thorough logs linking activities to ISP goals
