Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Pomona, CA is seeking a DSP II / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct, person-centered support to adults with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health needs. You will help individuals build independence, daily living skills, and positive behaviors within homes and communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• DSP I & II certifications (Title 17) preferred/required as applicable.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred; training may be provided.
• Experience applying ABA principles and task-analysis techniques.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered support while maintaining health, safety, dignity, and well-being of individuals served.
• Implement and document ISPs and individualized support strategies.
• Provide adaptive, social, functional, and community-integration skills training.
• Collect and document behavioral and service-related data to monitor progress.
• Utilize ABA principles, including task analysis and skill-building techniques, as directed by the treatment plan.
• Promote independence, choice, self-advocacy, learning, and positive social interactions.
• Support individuals with daily living activities and community participation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, coworkers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in team meetings, required training, and ongoing professional development.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, neglect, and exploitation and report concerns according to policy.
