Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is hiring a Direct Support Professional I & II in Apple Valley, CA. The role supports adults with developmental disabilities in an Enhanced Behavioral Support Home, assisting with daily living, promoting independence, and fostering positive behaviors through engaging activities.

The position offers AM and PM shifts, full-time employment, and comprehensive benefits. Certifications and a valid driver’s license are required, with RBT training within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid, CPI, DSP I & II certifications required.
• RBT certification required within 6 months of hire (training and fast-track support provided).
• Minimum of one year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines in accordance with IPPs.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Encourage positive behavior through structured activities (walking, reading, games, learning projects).
• Provide transportation using company vehicles as needed.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment.
