Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional II (DSP II) for residents in the IDD Community Homes Program.

You will assist with activities of daily living, support social skills, and help maintain a safe, home-like environment under supervision of the Program Specialist - Community Homes. This full-time role includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and sick days, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and paid holidays from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have computer knowledge.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid PA Driver's License.
• PA Motor Vehicle Record Check.
• Use of vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pre-employment Drug Screen.
• Pre-employment Physical Exam.
• Pre-employment TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• PA Criminal History Clearance.
• FBI Clearance if not resident of PA in past 2 years.
• NADSP certification.
• Medication Administration certification.
• Medication Administration Practicum Observer certification.
• Life experience managing a household, budgeting, meals, and chores.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in residential setting with activities of daily living.
• Support residents in developing social and other skills per goals plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, home-like environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform Medication Administration Practicum observations and document them.
• Work various shifts (first or second shift) as scheduled.
