Job summary

HopeTree Family Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with IDD in daily living activities while promoting independence and safety. The DSP will work closely with the team to implement person-centered supports and foster growth in daily routines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years of age, and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and support individuals with I/DD and promote quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Organize and implement activities that promote independence and inclusivity.
• Maintain required documentation including progress notes and records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
• Ensure the program location is safe, clean and well-maintained; report maintenance needs.
• Assist with medication administration processes and related documentation.
• Attend monthly team meetings and complete required trainings.
