Job summary

HIT, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Day Program in Mandan, ND. DSPs will assist individuals with daily living skills, community engagement and meaningful activities, including employment and volunteering opportunities.

The role entails early morning shifts starting at 6 AM, with rotation across days. Qualifications include a high school diploma; CPR/First Aid and Therapeutic Response Certification are pursued as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Will obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and Therapeutic Response Certification.
• ND Driver's License may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals in Day Program and Follow Me group home settings.
• Assist with employment, volunteering, social interaction, daily living skills and recreational activities to help achieve personal goals.

We're hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Day Program's Follow Me program! DSPs provide hands-on support to individuals in our programs, helping them work toward their personal goals through active treatment and meaningful daily activities. DSPs who work in the Day Program support individuals in engaging with their communities through employment, volunteer opportunities, social interaction, daily living skills, and recreational activities. DSPs who work in the Follow Me program work with individuals in a group home setting. The schedule for this position will work on weekly rotations and shifts begin at 6AM.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
