Job summary

HIT, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Day Program in Mandan, ND. The role focuses on hands-on support to individuals with disabilities to reach personal goals through active treatment and meaningful daily activities.

Position is full-time with a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We value compassion, motivation, and a dedication to improving lives in western North Dakota.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school diploma.
• Preference for candidates with work experience in the field of developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals in our Day Program, helping them work toward personal goals through active treatment and meaningful daily activities.
• Assist individuals with community engagement, daily living skills, employment and recreational activities.
• Support scheduling and participate in activities during the typical Monday–Friday shift (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM).

We’re hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Day Program's team! DSPs provide hands‑on support to individuals in our programs, helping them work toward their personal goals through active treatment and meaningful daily activities. There are openings within our Senior and Rec. Leisure programs. DSPs who work in the Day Program support individuals in engaging with their communities through employment, volunteer opportunities, social interaction, daily living skills, and recreational activities. The schedule is typically Monday‑Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Will obtain and maintain the required certifications, including becoming a medication technician, CPR and First Aid certification, Therapeutic Response Certification, a valid ND Driver’s License and DD certification as necessary for the position.
