Job summary

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Baldwinsville area with a woman in her late-20s who has Autism and anxiety. Responsibilities include assisting with community activities, light housekeeping, dog walking, meal prep, and encouraging exercise to build independence at home and in the community. Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.

Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record checks will be conducted. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV checks conducted prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with finding community activities and outings.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with walking the individual's dog and encouraging exercise.
• Support in community settings to increase independence.
• Engage the individual in activities by encouraging participation.
