Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float to provide individualized care and support for residents with complex needs in our community.

This hourly, non-exempt role requires travel between multiple sites and a commitment to 32 hours per week with at least three weekend shifts per month. New hires complete two weeks of paid training and join a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Flexibility to travel between residential locations within the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and support to residents.
• Assist with meals, chores, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Record observations and daily progress notes per support plans.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
