Job summary

Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float to provide individualized care and support for residents with complex needs in Moon Twp and surrounding areas. This hourly, non-exempt role requires flexibility to cover open shifts and travel between sites, including weekend coverage.

The position offers a New Wage of $20.00 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. A 32-hour minimum per week schedule includes weekend shifts, with comprehensive benefits and training provided by Verland.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and support to residents with complex needs.
• Serve as regional staffing resource and cover designated locations.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Assist with meals, personal hygiene, housekeeping and daily activities.
• Document observations and progress notes; participate in planning activities.
