Job summary

Abound Health in Chester, NJ is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and paid training. Starting pay ranges from $23/hour for non-acuity to $33/hour for acuity, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid after meeting

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required; paid training provided.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence at home, in the community, and in the workplace.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
