Job summary

Abound Health in Calabash, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

This role offers flexible schedules, paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. A $1,000 signing bonus is available and benefits include health coverage and 401(k) eligibility based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Experience with IDD not required – paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals to build independence.
• Assist with ADLs and daily living tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and scheduling; communicate with team and families.
