Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. We offer consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team that helps our DSPs succeed.

As a DSP, you will work one-on-one, follow each client's ISP, assist with daily living tasks, transportation, and documentation, and help clients build independence and community connections.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
