Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on support in clients' homes and communities. You will work one-on-one, following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

The role offers flexible hours, in-home and community settings, and opportunities to grow within a DDD-focused agency. A valid driver's license and compassionate, dependable approach are valued; CPR/First Aid may be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or DSP experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities: personal care, meals, transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation per each ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with individuals you support.
