Venture Community Services Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will support daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments, and help them participate in the community. The role offers a part-time schedule (Sun 4p-11p, Fri 3p-11p, Sat 9a-11p), pays $17.50–$19.00 per hour, and includes training and a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $500 for part-time employees.

Responsibilities

• The Direct Support Professional (DSP) assists adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities by supporting daily living activities and community involvement.
• Duties include household tasks, meal prep, shopping, personal care, attending medical appointments, and following Individual Support Plans and behavior plans.
• DSPs receive comprehensive training: New Employee Orientation, CPR/First Aid, MAP, and home-based program training.
