Job summary

GAAMHA in Massachusetts invites you to become a Direct Support Professional (DSP). As a navigator, you’ll help individuals with disabilities pursue independence, community inclusion, and meaningful lives through person-centered support and daily living training.

You’ll empower clients across activities from living skills to transportation, monitor health and safety, document progress, and collaborate with a care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English fluency (written and spoken); bilingual a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean CORI.

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals in a wide range of daily activities and settings.
• Support health, safety, and well-being; monitor changes and report accordingly.
• Document progress and observations in electronic records per regulations.
• Coordinate with team through daily program communications.
• Provide transportation to activities, work, and home.
• Engage in ongoing training and maintain professional demeanor.
