Job summary

Holy Angels Residential Facility is seeking a DSP/DSW to work from 2:45pm to 11:15pm, providing care and assisting with daily living skills for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role includes supervising residents, documenting activities and behavior, and coordinating with nursing staff and supervisors. CMA certification is required for this position, and a valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take the CMA class as REQUIRED for all DSPs, with potential pay increase after certification.
• Must maintain a current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assist, and train residents in activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, clothing, social and dining skills.
• Provide continuous active treatment for residents.
• Complete all documentation in the computer system, including behavior incident and medical related reports.
• Report any resident illness signs to nurse and supervisor.
• Perform additional duties such as laundry, dining room duty, or other requests as needed.
• Daily computer use is required.

Full Time - 8-hour shifts 2:45pm-11:15pm off every other weekend.
Starting Rate: $15.00 Plus .75 cent shift diff. for hours worked 3:30pm to 11:00pm

Job Summary:

Holy Angels Residential Facility is in search of a DSW/DSP Direct Service Professional from 2:45pm to 11:15 pm to provide care and assist with daily living skills for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities

• Supervise, assist, and train resident in all activities of daily living, including but not limited to, personal hygiene skills, clothing care
  skills, social skills, leisure skills, care of personal space, dining skills, toileting, and appropriate behavior skills
• Provide continuous active treatment for residents
• Accurately complete all assigned documentation including but not limited to, formal and service objectives, behavior incident
  reports, accident/incident documentation, medical related documentation
• All documentation put in computer system
• Report any issues or sign/symptoms of resident illness to nurse and supervisor
• Provide additional services which may be assigned as part of the job such as laundry, dining room duty, or any other reasonable
  requests made by supervisor deemed necessary for resident care or as part of the job
• Requires daily computer use

• Must maintain a current and valid driver's license to drive vehicles
