Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Bridgeport, Ohio. The role provides direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and homes, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Personal vehicle to transport individuals is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
