Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Bridgeport, OH. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requirements for this position include: At least 18 years of age; High school diploma or GED; Personal vehicle for transportation; Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance; MVRO must meet ViaQuest criteria; Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs; Willing to transport individuals using personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

$18.25-$19.25 per hour

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.

• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Personal vehicle to transport individuals is required
