Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Bridgeport, OH is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for immediate openings. Start pay is $18.25-$19.25 per hour. Training is provided, so no prior experience is required.

Open interviews on August 27, 2026, from 10am to 1pm at 56104 National Rd, Bridgeport, OH 43912. DSPs support individuals with developmental disabilities in facilities and homes, providing direct care, helping with daily activities, meal prep, safety, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle and valid Ohio driver’s license with car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
