Job summary

SimpleHire is partnering with a healthcare and human services organization to recruit Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will provide hands-on assistance, promote independence, and help clients achieve personal goals in a safe, supportive setting.

We are seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers who take pride in delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

Experience as DSP, Caregiver, PCA, HHA, or CNA is preferred.
Experience with IDD populations
Familiarity with person-centered care and support plans
CPR/First Aid certification required

Responsibilities

Provide individualized support to individuals with IDD.
Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Encourage independence through life skills development and community engagement.
Support transportation, appointments, recreational activities, and daily routines.
Follow individualized support plans and maintain accurate documentation.
Monitor safety, health, and well-being of individuals.
Assist with medication administration when authorized and trained.
Collaborate with supervisors, families, and care teams to provide consistent support.
Maintain a respectful, safe, and positive environment.
