Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in residential facilities and community settings in Cleveland, OH and surrounding areas.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration. This full-time role offers paid training, a competitive hourly wage, benefits, PTO and opportunities for schedule variety.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable personal vehicle to transport individuals.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's criteria.
• Able to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs.; ability to bend, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals to promote independence, choice, and safety.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in all aspects of daily living.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
