Job summary

Fidus Systems seeks a Solutions Architect specializing in DSP/Algorithms to drive client engagements from discovery to delivery. You will collaborate with FPGA/DSP, hardware, embedded software, verification, and SI/PI teams to architect high-speed electronic systems for a variety of industries.

The role involves proposal writing, risk assessment, and outlining solution paths with clear timing and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or the equivalent.
• At least seven (7) years of design background in a Signal Processing or Algorithms Designer role.
• System level design experience with architectural tradeoffs.
• Expert level knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink based system modeling.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to understand needs and develop requirements.
• Architect a solution to meet client needs.
• Estimate work, identify risks, and plan delivery for client solutions.
• Write technical content for proposals.
• Present Fidus’ capabilities and work approach to clients.
• Partition programs into logical segments and oversee project work.
• Identify and develop new Fidus products and areas for R&D.
