Job summary

Verland is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care at the Monaca, PA location. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm on various days. A $20.00/hr wage and a $2,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Training provided, background checks required, and health/retirement benefits are included. Responsibilities include supporting individuals with physical, medical, and intellectual challenges, assisting with daily living, and transporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a background, physical, and drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe, healthy environment.
• Support skill development through structured activities.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
