Dungarvin, in Indiana, seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver to provide direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental disabilities and physical needs. The role aims to empower independence while maintaining dignity and respect.

You will assist with daily living tasks, support personal growth, and contribute to a safe, caring environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid drivers license required due to transporting persons served
• Some positions may require your own vehicle and auto liability insurance
• Person-centered, patient, and kind

• Good communication is key; you'll document care and collaborate with team
• Background clearance is required during onboarding

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with disabilities
• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve
• Assist with daily living tasks such as mobility, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.

• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
