Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves hands-on assistance, daily living tasks, and documentation to support independence while preserving dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required (due to transporting persons served).
• Comfortable driving to transport persons served; some positions may require your own vehicle and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
