Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in Columbus, Ohio, on the 2nd shift. You will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live as independently and with dignity as possible.

The role includes hands-on care, safety, and personal care tasks, plus documentation and transport when needed. Benefits are offered to full-time staff, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualificações

• Valid driver's license required
• Some positions may require own vehicle and auto liability insurance
• 18 years or older
• Background clearance required
• Good reading, writing and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.

Wage: $16.50-$17.50/hour based on position and program

Job Description

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be comfortable driving to transport persons served as required
