Job summary

Food Lion in Raleigh is seeking a Store Associate to oversee Direct Store Delivery receiving, maintain standards, and support daily operations at Store 01358. You will ensure accurate receipt of DSD products and uphold company policies while delivering friendly, fast service to shoppers.

As part of the team, you will work with vendors, assist customers, and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience
• Protect company assets through the proper and accurate receipt and return of DSD product
• Work with vendors to resolve vendor errors, policy violations or inventory issues
• Ensure timely promotions by all vendors and implement merchandising notes
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures
