Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Protect company assets through proper receipt and return of DSD product.
• Demonstrate and enforce vendor receiving policies established by Food Lion.
• Work with vendors to resolve errors, policy violations or excessive inventory.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to ensure timely promotions by all vendors.
• Ensure weekly merchandising notes are implemented timely.
• Verify DSD plan-o-grams are accurate and up to date.
• Account for daily/weekly DSD tickets, beer and wine invoices; file properly.
• Follow safety guidelines and report accidents per protocol.
