Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Protect company assets through proper receipt and return of DSD product.
• Demonstrate and execute proper vendor receiving policies established by Food Lion.
• Work with vendors to resolve vendor errors, policy violations or excessive inventory.
• Coordinate timely promotions by all vendors and ensure merchandising notes are implemented.
• Verify DSD plan-o-grams are accurate and file tickets and invoices.
• Handle reclaim and damages and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
