Required are a chemistry-related bachelor's degree and proven DSC skills; a master's is a plus, with strong data interpretation and meticulous documentation throughout testing protocols.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DSC experience with calibration and sample prep.
• Experience in thermal analysis or materials characterization.
• Strong ability to interpret data and document results.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform DSC verification and validation (V&V) testing following established protocols.
• Test thermal analysis instruments, accessories, cooling systems, and autosamplers.
• Conduct sample preparation, calibration, and performance testing using reference materials.
• Evaluate DSC results, thermal transitions, and instrument performance.
• Test TRIOS software for instrument control, data collection, and analysis.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document instrument or software issues.
• Prepare accurate test reports and maintain detailed laboratory records.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Product Development teams.
