Job summary

Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel is seeking a Security Officer to maintain and record radio communications, handle inquiries from guests and staff, and dispatch officers as needed. You will be expected to know radio codes, procedures, and confidentiality rules within our Security department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must be physically fit; able to lift 40+ lbs.
• Must complete all security certifications within one year of hire.
• Must obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and records incoming radio calls on a radio log
• Receives public and team member inquiries in person or by telephone in a polite and professional manner
• Possess and maintain knowledge of radio codes, signals and call letters used by Dakota Sioux Casino Security
• Possess and maintain knowledge of Security operations manual; confidentiality
• Dispatch officers by radio, telephone or in person
• Maintains files and memorandums
• Monitors the clocking in and out of all team members
• Other duties as assigned
