Job summary

CASEY Construction Group, LLC, founded in 2009, seeks a Drywall Superintendent to lead field teams on commercial drywall projects in the Raleigh area and surrounding regions. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget while coordinating schedules and logistics with general contractors and clients.

You will mentor field foremen, develop team capabilities, and uphold quality standards across the jobsite, working closely with safety staff and project teams to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of commercial drywall experience as a Superintendent.
• Ability to instruct on methods/materials to labor and project team.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and time management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction jobs.
• Ensure all jobs follow safety standards.
• Create construction schedules and update them; monitor quality and production.
• Coordinate jobsite logistics.
• Develop field foremen and supervise staff.
• Build rapport with General Contractors and clients.
• Work with Safety personnel to enforce PPE rules.
• Assess team skills, training needs, and performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary

The Drywall Superintendent will work closely with all members of the project team and supervise all field employees. The primary focus of the Superintendent will be to ensure that each job is completed safely, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage commercial construction jobs
• Ensuring all jobs follow safety standards
• Create construction schedules and perform regular updates; make sure of quality and production
• Coordinate jobsite logistics
• Responsible for employee development by managing field foremen
• Continuously work on developing excellent rapport with General Contractor and clients
• Work alongside of Safety personnel to ensure all employees follow safety rules/regulations
• Work with team to evaluate team’s skill levels, training needs, performance management
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of of commercial drywall experience as a Superintendent
• Ability to instruct on methods/materials to labor and project team
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and time management software
