Job Summary:

We are looking to speak with an experienced craftsman in Jacksonville, FL who has experience with Drywall, Finishing, & Painting. You can join our team as a top-notch craftsman for Handyman Connection of SE Jacksonville. Let’s help each other to grow and thrive while serving the community. Responsibilities:

• Cut, shape, install building materials during construction, remodeling, or repair in residential and light commercial settings.
• Regularly work with fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Experience with hanging drywall, ceiling/wall texturing, finishing, repairs, and painting.
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.
• Determine and clearly identify proper tooling, materials, and quantities for new and existing projects.

Job Requirements:

• Competency in general building trades.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Clean background and drug test.
• Your own tools and a reliable vehicle (truck preferred).
• Your own smartphone and Internet access.
• Portfolio/examples of completed projects and references (customers or past employers).
• Preferred, but not required, that you live in south Jacksonville or north St. Johns county.
