Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator for its Nashville/Smyrna operations. You will perform quantitative takeoffs, establish labor productivities, and manage subcontractor pricing while maintaining vendor relations.

You will participate in bid reviews, support customer alignment, and handle contract administration for secured projects. Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, BuzzBID, PlanSwift, and Procore is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience estimating construction projects.
• Experience with metal stud/drywall scopes preferred.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.
• Proven ability to maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimate.
• Maintain relationships with area vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing outside of our self-performing group.
• Understand market conditions to establish margins.
• Involvement in internal bid reviews with supervisors/project teams.
• Support customer alignment objectives through positive relations.
• Contract administration for secured projects.
• Utilize wage and benefit schedules.
• Hand off secured projects to Operations team.
• Assist in change orders and billings when needed.
• Support estimating team for product line collaboration.
