Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc. seeks an experienced Drywall Estimator for its Nashville operations based in Smyrna, TN. The role requires performing takeoffs, establishing labor productivities, and pricing with vendors while coordinating with project teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of estimating construction projects, strong reading of specs/drawings, and proficient use of estimating software. Local to Nashville area preferred; safety sensitive role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating, project management, and metal stud/drywall scopes.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings for PCI scopes of work.
• Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates.
• Maintain relationships with area vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work outside our self-performing group.
• Understand market conditions for margin setting and risk assessment.
• Participate in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
• Assist in change orders and billings as required by projects.
• Handoff secured projects to the Operations team.
• Support Estimating team for product line collaboration.
