Ace Handyman Services Traverse City is seeking a drywall-focused craftsman to join our team in Traverse City. You will perform high‑quality, hands‑on drywall work while our professional office staff handles scheduling, billing, and customer coordination.

This full-time, W‑2 position offers year‑round work and a stable schedule with a Monday–Friday workweek. You will serve residential and light commercial customers, repairing, restoring, and improving spaces with an emphasis on texture matching

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in drywall repair, taping, mudding, sanding, and texture matching.
• Your own standard hand and power tools suited for drywall and general home repair.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to transport tools to job sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on respectful customer service.
• Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
• Broad home improvement skills such as interior painting, light carpentry, trim work, or minor tile repair.
• Experience using digital tools or smartphone apps for schedule tracking and job updates.
• Prior experience working directly with homeowners in a residential remodeling or service environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to scheduled jobs throughout the Traverse City area and perform drywall work.
• Evaluate drywall issues and complete repairs with textures that match existing surfaces.
• Represent the brand through clear communication, punctuality, and a clean workspace.
• Handle other light home repairs when needed and support homeowners directly on site.
• Coordinate with customers and office team, using digital tools for updates.
