Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Drywall Assistant Superintendent to support commercial projects from startup to closeout, coordinating field crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. You will review drawings, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Strong communication and leadership are essential, with Procore experience a major plus. This role requires hands-on supervision of drywall operations and collaboration with project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction management or drywall supervision.
• Experience coordinating commercial drywall projects and multiple trades.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of commercial construction projects from startup through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, materials, equipment, and resources.
• Assist in developing and enforcing project schedules to meet milestones and completion dates.
• Coordinate drywall operations and support all trades and activities.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Monitor project quality and ensure work complies with project specifications and company standards.
• Assist with permitting, inspections, turnover, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment utilization to support project needs.
• Support manpower planning, productivity tracking, and self-performed work activities.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, two-week lookaheads, as-builts, and Procore updates.
• Build positive relationships with subcontractors, project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Assist with problem-solving and issue resolution to maintain schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
