Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Jerome, ID is seeking a Dryer Operator I. You will operate the whey permeate dryer, ensuring daily production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include daily operations, cleaning, equipment maintenance, and safe sanitation, while supporting automated systems and following SOPs. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years in a related field, with ability to read and follow SOPs, SDS, GMP, HACCP, and other procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
• Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and required documentation.
• Demonstrate knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the whey permeate dryer and ensure optimum daily performance and product quality.
• Perform daily operations and cleaning of equipment related to the dryer.
• Perform operator-level maintenance when needed.
• Safely operate and sanitize equipment.
• Support automated systems and follow SOPs and sanitation schedules.
