Job summary

Agropur seeks a Dryer Operator I for our Jerome, ID facility. You will operate the whey permeate dryer, manage daily production, maintain equipment, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

The role includes following SOPs and sanitation schedules to ensure quality permeate and protein powder production. Starting wage is $23.12 per hour with two planned pay increases within the first year, plus a $1.50 shift differential and Sundays at double time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of related field experience.
• Ability to read and adhere to SOPs, GMP, SDS, HACCP/GLP documentation.
• Follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions and complete checklists.
• Demonstrate ability to learn new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Operate the whey permeate dryer and ensure daily performance.
• Perform daily operations and cleaning of dryer equipment.
• Perform operator level maintenance when needed.
• Ensure safe operation and sanitation of equipment.

We are looking for a Dryer Operator I in Jerome, ID. The Dryer Operator is responsible for operating the whey permeate dryer and ensuring optimum daily performance and quality permeate and protein powder production.

• Perform daily operations and cleaning of equipment associated with the dryer operation.
• Perform operator level maintenance when needed.
• Safe operation and sanitation of equipment.
• Sustain and support automated systems.
• Follow procedures and work instructions set forth through SOP's and Master Sanitation Schedules.

• Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).

• Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
